The BTAIR AirTracker connects securely to a global crowd-sourced network of smartphones within a 200-300 foot radius to transmit data to the ProFleet Cloud Platform. When a smartphone detects the AirTracker, it sends the AirTracker, timestamp, and GPS location of the smartphone to the ProFleet platform.
Unlike consumer tags, this mini asset tracker updates location history to a central dashboard, allowing you to manage inventory from your desktop—not just a phone app.

Bluetooth-Based Location Detection
The Mini AirTracker connects with any smartphone within a 200-foot range. When detected, the smartphone sends the tracker’s ID, time, and approximate location to the ProFleet platform.
ProFleet Platform on Desktop or App
The data is processed by our ProFleet cloud platform on your desktop or app, displaying the approximate location of the AirTracker. Route history and detailed reports are included. The ProFleet Platform is a complete asset management platform that provides route history and detailed reports.
Location Update Frequency
Locations update dependent on your subscription plan, anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes, depending on the presence of smartphone users nearby. This method eliminates the need for cellular connectivity and reduces tracking cost significantly, making it ideal for urban environments with frequent traffic.

Location Report Schedule The platform checks for new location pings on a set schedule of every 60, 30 or 10 minutes, depending on your subscription plan. Locations are passed through an algorithm to verify validity. Some scheduled checks will find one or more locations, some may have none (i.e., when no smartphones were nearby). Sometimes locations may arrive belatedly.
