LoRa Yard Management System
Local Asset Location Tracking at a Fraction of the Cost
Btracking’s LoRa Yard Management System is ideal for tracking assets in a yard, port, airport, school campus, warehouse – any local area where assets are not intended to leave that facility.
Affix LoRa (long range wifi) Tags to machines, pallets and equipment you want to monitor around the yard. LoRa Tags are devices that transmit locations via long range wifi to Base Stations positioned around the yard. The Base Stations in turn collect and transmit locations from every LoRa tag to the Btracking Platform, providing real-time location of yard assets at a fraction of the cost of using individual GPS trackers with cell network connections.

How Does It Work?
- Tag Assets Affix a LoRa tag to any mobile asset, such as a forklift, a baggage trailer, a crane. LoRa tags are small devices that transmit their locations over wifi to a Base Station GPS device. LoRa tags are powered by a solar rechargeable battery (or a wall charger for indoor assets). LoRa tags do not use or incur cell network costs.
- Install Base Stations Base Stations are GPS tracking devices with wifi, and can be solar powered or plug-in powered. Base Stations receive GPS locations from the LoRa tags and retransmit to the platform. Install Base Stations at approximately 1/2 mile intervals around the yard to create a LoRa network.

- Climate Monitoring LoRa tags can measure and transmit temperature and humidity data, with alrams for readings outside allowable ranges.
- Geofences You can create geofence boundaries around the yard, and in area within the yard, to be immediately notified when an assets enters or leaves that area.
- Movement Alerts You can receive instant alerts when an asset begins to move.
Inventory Management Reports
- Comprehensive Data Reports include data such as location history, device battery level, asset usage, geofence entry/exits, temperature and humidity records.
