Trackers have a GPS/GNSS modem and a cell modem. Trackers use the GPS/GNSS networks to obtain location data about every 60 seconds or less when moving (less often when stopped), which the tracker transmits via wireless network to the mapping platform. Trucks - Telematics Gateway Tracker
- Truck Telematics Gateway GPS Tracker These devices plug into the OBDII or J1939 port via a harness. The tracker can be hidden behind the dash for discreet installs. These fleet vehicle trackers also provide complete engine diagnostics.
- BLE for Sensors, Tool & Package Tracking, Driver ID Our trackers include BLE (bluetooth low energy) for connecting to wireless sensors such as temperature and humidity monitors, tracking which tools, pallets and equipment is on board and who's driving.
- WiFi Many of our truck trackers include wifi for communicating with add-ons such as a dashcam, HOS ELD device, or as a wifi hotspot.
- No Maintenance, No Data Plan Needed, No Lost Locations Plug-in trackers are powered by the vehicle. When the vehicle is off, they use a tiny amount of vehicle battery. Unless your vehicle is going to sit unused for many weeks, there's no need to remove the tracker. If the tracker is removed you'll get an alert by text or email. A data plan is included and all trackers support store & forward so that no data is lost in case of poor cell coverage or loss of power.
